I watched a video made by Baka Ranger at youtube about Shikamaru and Temari. The video is so simple (and without any backsound). You can watch the video but if u don't want to, i had written what Baka Ranger said in it.
Reason #5: Their first appearance in Naruto II was them
WALKING TOGETHER… KINDA EXPLAINS ITSELF DOESN’T IT?! So to sum everything up,
Shikamaru and Temari are DEFINITELY going to hook up, and THAT’S THAT!!

Reason #1
Why would
Kishimoto make Temari fight Shikamaru in the Chunin exams?
The answer to that
question is easy. He did it to show a moment between the two and what
their relationship was at the time. Also, it shows how they differ and how they
complete each other…
ya know, Temari is pushy,
loud, and enthusiastic and Shikamaru is shiftless, quiet, and pretty much
useless… If they got together, they would complete each other! Like Yin and
Yang! Temari could show Shikamaru how to actually be productive, and Shikamaru
could show her how to relax a little.
Reason #2
Why would he (Kishimoto) take time to
have Shikamaru ask his dad about why he married his mom?
He did it so
that we could see the fact that Shikamaru’s dad married a rough gal.
OMG, WAIT!!
TEMARI’S A ROUGH GAL TOO!!! Maybe this means something…
It DOES
mean something. It shows us that Nara’s have a tendency to marry tough girls…and since Temari is the
girl that we’ve seen Shikamaru with the most, and she is tough… there is
obviously something ahead for the two of them!! YAY!!
Reason #3
Why would he (Kishimoto) make Temari
save Shikamaru, and not Gaara or Kankurou or anyone else?
Well, you see, he wanted
to show yet ANOTHER moment between the two. Also, he wanted to show their
relationship as allies. If you notice, Temari is being very slightly
flirtatious with him. C’mon, admit it… Ya know, she’s teasing him and being
kinda flirty! She’s trying to make
conversation with him, and they play their little bantering game with each
other. She’s still being rough though… Also, what’s up with that flirty smile
she gives him?
HELLO? DOESN’T “FLIRTY”
GIVE IT AWAY? She’s asking for his thoughts on her performance! She
wants his recognition. The Shikamaru compares her with his mother. BIG
GIVEAWAY. Go back to Reason #2 and PUT THE PIECES TOGETHER!!!!
Reason #4
What’s up with the waiting
in the hospital? With all that tension?
ERGG. It annoys me how
much you DON’T UNDERSTAND. It shows Shikamaru at a vulnerable point, a perfect
opportunity for Temari to BAG on him… yet she doesn’t. She is awkwardly
tense, yet showing a bit of a soft side. Then when Shikamaru’s dad is yelling
the freak outta him, she shows a look of concern…
CONCERN? Yes, concern. I
mean, look at this face that should be playing by now. Then Shikamaru cries,
howing MAJOR vulnerability (if ya ask me), and she doesn’t do anything that
would hurt him…

Reason #5
Why in the world would
their first appearance in Naruto II be together?! Side by side?!
Well, it goes to show that the two have a new level of relationship… It looks like
they’re hanging out and they are TOGETHER in the pic…
Also, the fact that they mention a date makes you start to think… “Ya know, I bet they were on a date,” or “They would be really cute together.”

REVIEW TIME!
Reason #1: They fought
EACH OTHER in the Chuunin Exams and the fact that Shikamaru gave up even though
he was close to winning, is a nice reason for any girl to fall head over heels
for a guy, BUT… because Temari is, well, Temari, she won’t let it be obvious.
Reason #2: Shikamaru’s dad
married a troublesome woman and Shikamaru keeps having moments with a
troublesome woman (Temari)… NARA’S HAVE A THANG FOR TROUBLESOME WOMEN.
Reason #3: Temari saved
Shikamaru. Maybe Temari wanted to prove to him that she wasn’t weak, since he
basically beat hir in the Chuunin Exams. SHE WANTED HIS RECOGNITION… There were
reasons that each Sand Shinobi saved their respective Konoha counterparts.
THEIRS WAS BECAUSE THEY SORTA HAD A RELATIONSHIP.
Reason #4: Temaru stayed
with him at the hospital. SHE DIDN’T HAVE TO. SHE COULD’VE LEFT. Shikamaru only
had minor injuries and he was waiting for Chouji… Temari had no other reason to
be there except to ACCOMPANY SHIKAMARU.

Most important things:
- When Matsuri says "Temari already like someone." and her friend says "He's intelligent"... she almost blushes.
- When Temari saves Shikamaru, he thinks "She's almost as scary as my mom", then she turns at him and smiles. In that moment Shikamaru gets astonished, probably because he remembers the conversation he had with his father that morning, about her mother:
"Dad, Why did you marry the mom?"
"Well, sometimes she can SMILE. That's a reason."
And then he smiles too.
